Glossary of Terms
- ANALYSIS METHOD - Specifies
the method used for measuring the analyte.
- ANALYTE - Identifies
the analyte that was measured. See Analyte
Categories With Associated Analytes for association between analyte
category and analyte.
- ANALYTE CATEGORY - Specifies
the category of the analyte that was measured. See Analyte Categories With Associated Analytes for association
between analyte category and analyte.
- COUNTRY - Specifies
the country in which the crop was planted.
- CROP SOURCE - Specifies a
category of the crop that was planted.
- CROP TYPE - Specifies
the species of crop grown.
- CROP YEAR - Specifies
the year in which the crop was harvested.
- SEED VENDOR - Specifies
the vendor of the seeds for the crop that was planted.
- SEED VARIETY - Specifies
the variety of the seeds for the crop that was planted.
- STATE - Specifies
the state/province in which the crop was planted.
- TISSUE TYPE - Specifies
the origin of the tissue sampled for analysis.
- UNIT - The units
in which the numeric VALUE was
measured.
- VALUE – A numeric
value that records the amount of the analyte that was measured.
