Crop Composition Database

The Results Screen

  • The search results consist of several tables. Those tables include the Selection Criteria table, Attributes Common to All Values table, Analyte Minimum/Maximum/Average table, Analysis Methods table, Seed Vendor table and Seed Variety table.
  • The number of significant figures displayed in the table reflects the actual result submitted, and does not imply a specific accuracy for the analytical result. Please consult the individual method references for accuracy and precision information on each method. Further information on accuracy, repeatability and uncertainty estimates for analytical methods can be found in Thompson et al., Pure Appl. Chem., Vol. 74, No. 5, pp. 835–855, 2002, and at http://www.measurementuncertainty.org/.
  • No Seed Vendor or Seed Variety tables will be displayed for Non-Commercial crop sources.
  • The analyte values listed are based on the Unit of Measure for that particular analyte selected on the previous screen. The analyte is displayed either in its primary unit of measurement (fresh weight) or its first alternate unit of measurement (dry weight).
  • If you want to review the analyte display field selections made on the previous screen, use the ‘Back to Select Specific Analytes’ button.
  • If you want to view the individual data points from the search, use the ‘Display Individual Data Points from Current Search’ button.
  • Do NOT use the “Back” button on your browser to return to previous screens.
