The Second Screen - Restrict Searching by Analysis Method or by Value Range
- This screen is not to be used for selection of specific analytes.
- A list of analytes will
be displayed on the screen based on the Analyte Category or Categories selected
on the previous screen.
- There is an operator drop down menu with the following values: Any, <, =<, ==, >, >= and Range.
- The default operator for all analytes listed is Any.
- If you select an operator other than 'Any', you must
enter the value for the comparison in the 'Value' field.
- If you select the 'Range' operator, you must enter the lower value of the
range in the 'Value' field and the upper value of the range in the 'Upper Value
if Range' field.
- The value or values you enter are evaluated in fresh weight.
- Numbers entered into either value field must be in U.S. format with no
thousands separator (i.e. the comma character). A period character should be used to separate the integer portion
from the fractional portion of numbers.
- For those analytes where you want to restrict the search criteria to a specific analysis method, you can use your mouse to select an analysis method from the drop down menu located in the "Analysis Method" row of each analyte listed on the screen.
- If the publication year is not specified for a particular analysis method, then it can be any version for that AOAC method.
- All analysis methods in the database are listed in the drop down menu. It is not specific to the analyte category displayed on the screen.
- Use the 'Confirm Search Criteria' button at the bottom of the screen to
continue the search process.
- Use the 'Back to Primary Search Criteria Selection' button to change any of
the previous search criteria selected.
- Do NOT use the Back button on your browser to return to previous screens.
